Jane Villiers looks forward to celebrating hwe 25th wedding anniversary but events seem determined to wreck the happy occasion. Her daughter Lucille is besotted with an unknown and unlikely-sounding fiance by the name of Bingo; her son Simon seems to be developing some disquieting habits; her husband David appears to have entirely forgotten their anniversary; and, to cap it all, a much-treasured wedding present is stolen. With a dash of intrigue and mistaken identities, the plot bounces alomng in this bubbling comedy which provides excellent cast opportunities for a wide variety of characterization.
